Susy’s dopperbag – the updated version

Easy-to-Follow Pattern and Instructions

Verify your bottle’s compatibility with the Dopperbag, suitable for Dopper bottles with the following dimensions:

  • capacity of 350 ml
  • diameter of 6 cm
  • height of 23.6 cm
  • weight of 270 g.

Materials needed:

  • cotton yarn
  • 5mm crochet hook
  • yarn needle
  • scissors

The Pattern

Round 1 Mr, 1l, 6sc in ring. Don’t close with a slst! . Pull mr tight. (6)
Round 2 2sc in each st. (12)
Round 3 *2sc in next st, sc in next st, Rep van * till end of Round. (18)
Round 4 1sc in next st, 2sc in next st, *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st, Rep from * till last st, sc in last st. (24)
Round 5 *2sc in next st, sc in next 3 st, Rep from * till end of round, make 1 slst in the 1st sc!. (30)
Round 6 Ch3, 29 BLdc, slst in ch3.
Round 7 You’re going to make the body of the bag now: Ch4, *sk1, 1dc in next st, ch1 Rep from * till end of round, slst in 1st dc (3rd ch).
Round 8-17 Ch4, *sk ch-1 sp, 1dc in next st, ch1 Rep from * till end of round, slst in 1st dc (3rd ch).
Round 18 Ch3, 1 dc in each of the next 29, slst in ch3.(30)

The Strap

Row 1 Use your stitchmarkers to mark the 2 stitches next to the slst you just made. Count 12 stitches on the right side and put a stitch marker in the next st. Skip one stitch and put a stitchmarker in the next stitch. Ch 120 and attach the strap to the exact opposite of the bag with a slst, this will be in the skipped stitch.
Make a slst in the next st in the rim of the bag, turn and make 1hdc in each ch. Make a slst at the bottom of the strap in the marked stitch, fasten off.
