The K-Cute little Heart

A New Free Crochet Pattern for Valentine’s Day

Last year I designed the Bobble heart knot so square and published it as a free pattern. It was my Valentine’s gift to you lovely people.

Crochet wise the past year has been even better than the year before so with Valentine’s day coming along soon I thought this was the perfect occasion to offer you a new free crochet pattern. I hope it will inspire you for Valentine’s day 2021!

Crochet hearts

As it is a Valentine’s day themed pattern, it just had to be a heart! Again, yes ;-).

I took my yarn out and played around until I was satisfied. IMHO it’s the k-cutest little heart! It’s a perfect little pattern to try different colourways on and purpose wise the possibilities are also endless. To name a few, what about a romantic garland? A bookmark, an applique?

Drops Safran

You are of course free to use whatever yarn you please, gauge and tension are not important for this project. I used a 3mm hook and Drops Safran cotton yarn. This is yarn spun from combed, long, Egyptian cotton fibers. I love its shine and softness and all the beautiful colors it comes in!

By the way Drops Safran is made in the EU and has a Oeko-Tex® certificate. Excellent!
